Hi, I’m Alex. I live in Montréal, I fix computers for a living, and I am not a pro gambler. A year ago I made my first deposit at an online casino. I had no idea what “wagering” meant, and finding out cost me money.

Three things new players hit without warning. Cards take money in but can’t pay you out, so you’ll need Interac or an e-wallet to get paid. Interac caps at $3,000 CAD per transfer and most other methods at $6,000 CAD, so a big win comes back in pieces instead of one payment. And the smallest crypto withdrawal is bigger than the smallest crypto deposit: 0.0002 BTC out against 0.0001 BTC in.
